Information We Collect

Civona collects information you provide directly when requesting a demo, contacting us, or using our diagnostic tools. This includes name, email address, municipality name, and information about your municipality's operations. We also collect usage data through standard web analytics (page views, session duration, referral sources).

How We Use Your Information

Information you provide is used to respond to your inquiries, build custom demos for your municipality, and communicate about Civona's platform and services. We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your municipal data to train shared AI models.

Municipal Data

For municipalities using the Civona platform, all data is stored in isolated, encrypted tenant environments. Municipal constituent data is never shared between municipalities, never used for third-party purposes, and never used to train shared AI models. Each municipality's data is encrypted at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.3).

Data Retention

Website inquiry data is retained for 2 years or until you request deletion. Municipal platform data is retained for the duration of the service agreement and deleted within 30 days of contract termination, following a final data export in standard formats.

Your Rights

You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information. To exercise these rights, contact [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days.

Accessibility Statement

Last updated: March 26, 2026

Our Commitment

Civona is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards.

Conformance Status

We aim for conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. The Civona website uses semantic HTML, ARIA labels, keyboard navigation support, and sufficient color contrast ratios. We are actively working toward full WCAG 2.1 AA compliance.

Known Limitations

Some interactive diagnostic tools may have limited screen reader support. We are prioritizing accessibility improvements to these components. If you encounter an accessibility barrier, please contact us and we will provide the information in an alternative format.

Feedback and Contact

We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of the Civona website. Please contact [email protected] if you experience accessibility barriers or need content in an alternative format. We will respond within 5 business days.

Platform Accessibility

The Civona platform — the AI constituent service layer deployed for municipalities — is designed to serve all constituents, including those using assistive technologies. Multilingual support, clear language, and compatibility with screen readers and keyboard navigation are core platform requirements.
